Hail Monday Cure

Hail Monday Cure

How do you warm up on a cold Monday from...Hello?

Saint Patty's Day can't come soon enough for me! I want to to warm my bones real fast! But how? For starters try boosting your fave hot beverage with a little hidden elixir. I mean you don't want to waste that little bit of rum or whiskey at the bottom of the jug! . Make a hot toddy to lift your spirits and maybe a friend or two who have dropped by for "tea"!

Get creative: add  a good quality Ceylon tea to the pot (warm pot first). Steep for 3 minutes, pour into mugs and add honey or dark sugar. Next generously pour in rum bourbon or whiskey to taste. You might want to add some rich cream, or lemon, mint or a ciinamon stick.

Sit back before a roaring fire with your favorite crony, homie or honey. Smell that aroma sip and enjoy!

That's a "hot toddy" from the Green Goddie!
